    Another excellent review! Self-compassion is something that I find difficult and always have. I adamantly do not like myself and I think I never will. So, having worked with this book and others that advocate loving yourself, do you think that I can be transformed by a mere book? I have been having therapy for many years, but I never seem to make any progress, so I’m think of stopping my sessions. But do you think this book could do a better job?

I think it’s natural to question if something as simple as reading a book can make a significant impact on our deeply ingrained beliefs about ourselves.

      I think it’s worth exploring the possibility that a book could offer something valuable.
